Zika Virus Giant Microbes

This virus was discovered decades ago in an African forest named Zika. Transmitted mainly by the Aedes mosquito, Zika has spread dramatically across the Americas. The WHO has declared Zika a public health emergency and the CDC has issued travel warnings.
