Handling times:

Most orders will be dispatched in 3-5 business days of payment confirmation

(no order pending payment receipt or approval will be dispatched)

Want to qualify for free shipping?

 Enjoy free shipping on orders over $150 for standard shipping or $200 for express shipping. Some exclusions apply, such as size/weight restrictions and specific postcodes. 

Shipping Calculation Notice:

Please note that while our shipping costs are automatically calculated, there may be instances where the calculation does not accurately reflect the shipping charges. We strive to ensure accurate shipping calculations, but in rare cases, adjustments may be necessary. We appreciate your understanding in such situations.

Standard Shipping:

Our standard shipping option ensures delivery within the following timeframes: 3-12 business days for metropolitan cities and 7-15 business days for rural areas, starting from the dispatch date. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout, beginning at $10 for the first item. Additional charges apply for each extra kilogram and are determined by the parcel size. Please note that interstate deliveries may vary based on seasonal factors and freight demand.

Express Shipping:

We offer express or expedited shipping, which remains a priority for our team and couriers. However, please note that it may not always meet the next business day delivery standard. Dispatch times for express orders may vary. For more information, please reach out to us at info@outbackhobbies.com.au. Kindly note that express shipping does not guarantee same-day dispatch, as our handling times still apply.

Dangerous Goods:

We offer products that are considered dangerous goods by the couriers we use, this means that some products may not go Express Post or Aus Post standard (Lithium batteries, Aerosols, etc..)
If Express shipping (default express is Aus Post) is selected and a fee is applied, we will endeavor to correct the paid shipping (if alternative shipping method is cheaper) otherwise your order will be sent out via appropriate courier.

Oversize or overweight shipping:

For orders exceeding 1 meter or weighing over 21KG, additional shipping costs may apply. To avoid any inconvenience, we recommend contacting our friendly team in advance. We will ensure the best courier option is provided for your specific requirements.

International Shipping:

We currently do not offer international shipping. However, we are actively working on implementing international shipping options in the near future. Stay tuned for updates on when international shipping will be available.

Please be aware that our default policy is to apply "Authority to Leave" (ATL) for deliveries.

How to understand different product stock availability options: 

Outback Hobbies warehouse stocked:

Stock is available in our Brisbane warehouse for dispatch which means no delay for processing and dispatch of goods. 

Stock available with supplier (not stocked in Outback Hobbies warehouse):

Stock is available with offsite warehousing or in stock with supplier. Dispatch delays greater than 5 business days may occur so please take this into consideration when making your purchase (email me when available blue box appears)

Pre-Order:

Stock may be available with supplier but lead times are greater than 30 business days to process. Stock may also be out with supplier so please contact us before ordering if time-frame is important to you. Additional terms and conditions apply to Pre-Orders so please ensure you have agreed to our terms and conditions before proceeding with a Pre-Order.

 Out of Stock (No confirmed orders to re-stock):

This means no stock can currently be ordered or sourced from our supplier/s OR cannot provide a delivery date at this time. Please contact us on the product/s you are interested in if you see this as we may still be able to place an order.
